ACA Update Presentation

Although the first round of ACA reporting has come to a close, there unfortunately will not be a break in the action for employers.  In the coming months, employers have a long list of items that must be addressed, including:

Filing Correction Forms – Errors on 2015 ACA Reporting

Correcting Internal Systems –  SSN Mismatches

Establishing New Process –  Verify Employee & Dependent SSNs During Onboarding

Selecting/Changing Reporting Vendor or Process for 2016

Collecting and Appealing HHS/IRS Notifications of Potential Penalties

Preparing 2016 1095 Forms

 

Knowing the requirements, processes, and pitfalls of each of these items is imperative for employers to avoid any unnecessary penalties.  This discussion will assist on how to be best prepared to handle each. Prior to the meeting – Please provide us with your top three ACA Reporting questions that you have so Mr. Orton is prepared to answer your questions.
